Where you sell a digital product matters less than you’d think, and one question matters more than the fees: do people already know you? Below are ten places to sell ebooks, templates, presets and other downloads, what each one takes, and who it suits. I checked every number on each company’s own pricing page on 29 September 2026. How to choose
Do people already know you?
This matters more than the fee. If you have followers, a newsletter or a community, a store of your own is the cheaper way to sell to them, and the buyer stays yours. If you don’t, a site with its own search, like Etsy, or Gumroad’s Discover, can find you a first buyer, and takes a bigger share of those sales.
Most first sales come from people who already follow you.
Why the audience question comes first
How much do you sell in a month?
A monthly plan is a cost you pay before you sell. Below a certain amount of sales, a share of each sale costs less; above it, the flat plan wins. The chart at the top shows three example months, and the fees page works out where the line falls for each company.
What are you selling?
Ebooks, templates, printables, presets and other files sell anywhere on this list. A course with lessons, modules and progress tracking is what Podia, Teachable, Thinkific and Kajabi are built for. On AOVANCY, courses are coming soon; for now you’d sell a guide or a video lesson as a file.
Who takes the payment?
Some of these connect to your own Stripe or PayPal account; others take the payment themselves. On AOVANCY, AOVANCY SRL sells every order in its own name, so you don’t need a payment account, and refunds and buyer questions come to us.

Stoke, our AI, can draft an ebook with you if you haven't made the product yet. We don't send buyers: they come from the links you share.

A simple link to sell from, with a chance at Discover buyers.
