Gumroad vs Kajabi
Gumroad costs nothing until something sells. Kajabi costs $179 a month and gives you much more to run a course business with. Here are the numbers, from their own pricing pages.
Pick Gumroad if you sell downloads and want to pay nothing until they sell. Pick Kajabi if courses, coaching and email are the whole business and you already sell more than about €1,350 a month. We compete with both of them, so check the sources below.

Taken from what each company says on gumroad.com/features and kajabi.com/features. “Not listed” means we couldn’t find it on that page, not that it can’t be done.
Gumroad fits if you sell templates, ebooks or presets, your sales go up and down, or you’re still finding out what sells. A slow month costs nothing, and you pay more per sale for that.
Kajabi fits if a course or coaching programme is the main thing you sell and you want the email, pages and community in one place. $179 a month is hard to justify until the sales are already there.
AOVANCY is a third way to do this: your own storefront with no monthly fee, where we keep 7.5% when something sells, with card processing on top. We don’t have Kajabi’s email or community, and we don’t bring buyers the way Discover can. We wrote those up too: AOVANCY vs Gumroad, AOVANCY vs Kajabi, and every company’s fees in one table.
