The niche matters less than how specific you get. “Meal prep for busy weeks” is easier to buy than “Healthy eating”, because the reader can already see the Sunday it saves them. Some places to start:
Amazon has the readers. That’s the honest reason to be there, and if nobody knows you yet it’s a real one. As of September 2026 KDP pays a 35% or a 70% royalty on ebooks. The 70% option only applies in some countries and price ranges, and takes a delivery cost for every copy.

Upload a finished PDF or EPUB. Or open the AI writer in your dashboard: it asks about your topic and your reader, then drafts the chapters. You edit until it sounds like you.
Upload a cover and set what it costs. If your PDF looks plain, the PDF enhancer can lay it out as a proper ebook first.
It goes through an automatic check, then it's live at yourname.aovancy.com. Share that link, or the link to the book.
We take the payment and email the file. Each card sale clears after 5 days, then you can ask us to pay you by bank transfer.
What it costs
The same bill for every book you sell.
There’s no monthly bill and nothing to pay per listing. Every order is sold by AOVANCY SRL: we take the payment, deliver the file and handle refunds, then pay you 92.5% of the price.* We keep 7.5%. Card processing comes off first, and the split is worked out on what’s left.
Each card sale clears after 5 days. Once €50 has cleared, you can ask us to pay you by bank transfer. Nothing is held back beyond that.

Questions
It depends on where your readers are. Amazon KDP puts your book in the Kindle store and, as of September 2026, pays a 35% or 70% royalty. Gumroad charges 10% + $0.50 per sale, with card processing on top. On AOVANCY your storefront is free. When a copy sells, we keep 7.5% and pay you the rest, before card processing. If people already follow you, it makes sense to sell to them directly.
Yes. The AI writer in your dashboard asks what the book is about and who it's for, then drafts the chapters. Read it, fix what's off and publish when it sounds like you. Plan on real editing time: the draft is a start, not a finished book.
I can't promise you a number, and I'd be careful with anyone who does. What moves it most is an audience that already trusts you and a book about one specific problem. Page count matters a lot less than people think.
Yes. The moment someone pays, they get an email with a download link. The link keeps working, so they can download the book again later.
Yes. Nothing on AOVANCY is exclusive: sell the same book on Amazon, Apple Books, your own site and here. Just check the other store's own rules, because some of their programmes do ask for exclusivity.
