Content Moderation Policy
On this page
1. Scope
This policy applies to everything created, uploaded or sold through AOVANCY S.R.L. ("AOVANCY", "we"). That includes content produced with our AI tools (Stoke, our AI product builder, and the tools that draft ebooks, guides and courses, write product descriptions and generate cover images) as well as content creators write or upload themselves. It sits alongside our Terms & Conditions and Creator Terms. Where they overlap, the stricter rule applies.
2. Permitted Uses of Our AI Tools
You may use our AI tools to:
- plan, outline, draft and edit ebooks, guides, courses, workbooks and templates;
- write titles, descriptions and other copy for your own products;
- generate cover images and illustrations for your own products;
- research and structure educational material on lawful topics.
AI output can be wrong, outdated or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing, fact-checking and editing anything the tools produce before you publish or sell it, exactly as if you had written it yourself.
3. Prohibited Uses
You may not use our AI tools, or sell products, that involve any of the following:
- Sexual content. Pornography or other sexually explicit material, including AI-generated material, and any sexualisation of minors.
- Real people without consent. Deepfakes, impersonation, or content that falsely depicts or attributes words to a real, identifiable person.
- Violence and hate. Graphic violence or gore, and content promoting terrorism, self-harm, hate or harassment.
- "Get rich quick" content. Products that guarantee or imply specific profits, returns or income, investment solicitations, trading signal or copy-trading services, and pyramid or multi-level marketing schemes.
- Illegal or regulated goods and services, including drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, stolen accounts, data or credentials, and academic-fraud services.
- Infringement. Copying or closely reproducing other people's books, courses, artwork, fonts, characters or trademarks, or selling material you do not own or hold the rights to resell.
- Deception. Fake reviews or testimonials, invented credentials or results, and descriptions that misrepresent what the buyer receives.
- Harm to systems or people. Malware, phishing, spam, collecting other people's personal data without a lawful basis, and attempts to bypass the safeguards of our tools or of the AI models behind them.
4. Sensitive Topics
Health and wellbeing, legal matters, and money (including trading and investing) are allowed as educational content, with these limits:
- teach concepts and methods; do not present the product as personal medical, legal or financial advice;
- do not promise health outcomes, legal results, profits or income;
- include a clear note that the content is educational and that results depend on the reader;
- products for children must be age-appropriate.
5. How We Monitor
- Screening before publication. Every product, whether written by hand or with our AI tools, is automatically screened (text and images) against the prohibited categories above before it can go on sale. If the screening service is unavailable, the product is held for manual review instead of being published.
- Screening after edits. When a published product is edited, it is screened again. Products that fail go back to review and come off sale until a person has checked them.
- Human review. Our team reviews flagged products and reported content, and decides on removal and account action.
- Reports. Anyone can report a product with the report button on its product page or by emailing support@aovancy.com. We publish figures on reports and actions in our Transparency Report.
- Model safeguards. The AI models behind our tools are operated by third-party providers that apply their own safety systems.
- Investigations. When we investigate a report or suspected misuse, we may review the products, uploads and AI inputs and outputs connected to the account, to the extent we hold them.
6. What Happens When the Rules Are Broken
Depending on how serious the violation is, we may:
- reject a product, or take it off sale;
- ask for changes, or for proof that you hold the rights to what you sell;
- restrict access to our AI tools;
- suspend or close the account;
- withhold amounts owed to you where a material breach is reasonably suspected, as set out in the Creator Terms;
- report content to the competent authorities where the law requires it.
Serious violations, such as sexual content involving minors, can lead to immediate account closure without prior warning.
7. Appeals
If your product is flagged, you can appeal from your dashboard. For any other decision, write to support@aovancy.com with the product or account concerned and why you believe the decision is wrong. A person reviews every appeal, and we explain the outcome.
