Last updated: March 6, 2026
1. Our Commitment
AOVANCY is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, in accordance with the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) as transposed into Romanian law by Law 232/2022 (Legea nr. 232/2022).
We continuously work to improve the accessibility of our platform and ensure that our digital products and services are usable by the widest possible audience.
2. Conformance Status
AOVANCY is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to address known issues.
3. Measures Taken
AOVANCY has taken the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Semantic HTML structure throughout the platform
- Keyboard navigation support for all interactive elements
- Skip-to-content navigation link
- Sufficient color contrast ratios for text content
- Alt text for meaningful images
- Responsive design supporting zoom up to 200%
- Focus indicators on interactive elements
- ARIA labels on icon-only buttons and controls
- Form labels and error messages associated with form controls
- Dark mode support for users with light sensitivity
4. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some areas of the platform may have accessibility limitations:
- PDF documents: Some creator-generated PDF products may not be fully accessible. We encourage creators to follow accessibility best practices when creating their content.
- Charts and data visualizations: Some analytics charts may not be fully accessible to screen reader users. We provide text-based alternatives where possible.
- Third-party content: Content embedded from third-party services (e.g., payment forms via Stripe) is governed by those providers' accessibility policies.
- User-uploaded images: Images uploaded by creators may lack alternative text descriptions.
