# About AOVANCY

AOVANCY is a store for digital products. This page covers what it does, how an order works, what it costs and who runs it.

## Overview

AOVANCY gives each creator their own store at yourname.aovancy.com. They upload a digital product they already have, or make one with [Stoke](https://aovancy.com/stoke), AOVANCY's AI, and share the link with the people who follow them. AOVANCY SRL sells every order: it takes the payment, delivers the file, handles support and refunds, and pays the creator 92.5% of the price.\*

## Who does what

### The creator

- Makes the product, or makes it with Stoke.
- Sets the price.
- Shares the store link: a bio, a newsletter, a post, a reply to someone who asked.

### AOVANCY SRL

- Runs the creator's store at yourname.aovancy.com.
- Sells every order in its own name and takes the payment.
- Emails the buyer the file the moment they pay.
- Answers buyers' questions and handles refunds.
- Pays the creator their share by bank transfer.

> **Important:** AOVANCY doesn't find buyers. We don't send traffic or run anyone's marketing. The people who buy are the people the creator brings, so AOVANCY works best for creators who already have somewhere to share the link.

## Merchant of record

AOVANCY SRL is the merchant of record on every order. The buyer buys from AOVANCY SRL: our name is on the receipt, we take the payment, and we're responsible for delivery, support and refunds. The creator supplies the product, and we pay them their share, with an invoice for each payment.

For creators, that means:

- No Stripe or PayPal account of your own. Buyers pay us.
- No checkout, delivery or refunds to run. We do those.
- Your billing details, once, before the first payment: whether you're a person or a company, your tax ID, your address and the bank account we pay. You have to be 18 or older for us to pay you.

## How an order works

1. **The buyer pays.** They open the creator's link and pay AOVANCY SRL at checkout, by card, or in crypto if the creator turned it on. They don't need an account.
2. **The file arrives.** Right after payment, the buyer gets the file by email, with a permanent download link.
3. **We look after the buyer.** The receipt comes from AOVANCY SRL. Questions and refunds come to us, under Romanian consumer law. See the [withdrawal policy](https://aovancy.com/withdrawal-policy).
4. **We pay the creator.** Each card sale clears after 5 days. Once €50 or more has cleared, the creator asks us to pay them, and we send it by bank transfer. We email them when it's sent.

## What you can sell

Anything a buyer downloads:

- Ebooks and guides, as PDF or EPUB.
- Templates for Notion, Canva, spreadsheets or résumés.
- Planners, worksheets, printables and wall art.
- Presets, prompt packs, fonts, sample packs, audio and short video lessons.

Each product is one file (PDF, EPUB, ZIP, images, Office, audio or video) of up to 50 MB. A set of files goes in a ZIP. Every product goes through an automatic check before it's published. There's a longer guide on [selling digital products](https://aovancy.com/sell-digital-products).

## Stoke

Stoke is AOVANCY's AI. It answers in the language you write to it in, and AOVANCY picks the model behind it for each job.

### Works today

The writer. Tell it your topic, your reader and what they should be able to do after reading, and it drafts the ebook or guide with you. Edit in plain words, then pick one of three covers or upload your own.

### Coming soon

- Reading your store and suggesting changes. Every change waits for your OK, and most can be undone for 24 hours.
- Writing emails to buyers who said yes at checkout. Each one waits for you to send it.
- Running ads in your own Meta ad account, only after you start a campaign, within the limits you set.

## How AOVANCY compares

Checked on each company's own pricing page in September 2026:

- Payhip's free plan (5%) and Lemon Squeezy (5% + $0.50 a sale, card fees included) take less from a sale than we do.
- Gumroad takes 10% + $0.50 a sale on your own links, and more on sales through its Discover page.
- Etsy's search and Gumroad's Discover can bring buyers who don't know you yet. We don't send traffic.
- Podia, Teachable, Thinkific and Kajabi are built for courses with lessons, on monthly plans.

### What is AOVANCY?

A store for digital products. You get your own store at yourname.aovancy.com, upload a product you already have or make one with Stoke, our AI, and share the link. We run the checkout, deliver the file and pay you 92.5% of the price, before card processing.

### Who sells the product to the buyer?

AOVANCY SRL, as merchant of record. Every order on an AOVANCY store is sold by us in our own name: we take the payment, send the buyer the file, handle support and refunds, and pay the creator their share. You don't need a payment account of your own.

### Does AOVANCY find buyers for me?

No. We don't send traffic or run your marketing. Buyers come from the links you share: your bio, your newsletter, your posts. We handle everything after they click.

### What is Stoke?

Stoke is AOVANCY's AI. The part that works today is the writer: describe an ebook or guide and it drafts it with you, with a cover. The rest of Stoke is being built: reading your store and suggesting changes you approve, writing emails to buyers who said yes at checkout, and running ads in your own Meta ad account.

### How much does AOVANCY cost?

Nothing to start: no monthly fee and no listing fee, with up to 3 products on the free plan. When something sells, we keep 7.5% and pay you 92.5% of the price, before card processing. Paid plans are coming soon.

### What can I sell on AOVANCY?

On price, as of September 2026: Gumroad takes 10% + $0.50 a sale, Payhip has a free plan at 5% a sale, and Etsy charges 6.5% + $0.20 a sale and brings its own search traffic. We keep 7.5%, worked out after card processing, with no monthly fee. We also sell every order as AOVANCY SRL and include an AI writer for making the product. We don't send buyers, so if you have no audience yet, a site with its own search can make more sense.
